    v1.5 — The WizPrly ecosystem

    WizPrly Chat now lives at chat.wizprly.co.za and works together with WizPrly News.

    • New address: chat.wizprly.co.za (the old address forwards and can bring your guest chats along)
    • App switcher in the top bar to jump between WizPrly services
    • Ask about news anywhere and get the latest headlines from WizPrly News right in the chat
    • “Ask WizPrly Chat” on every WizPrly News story opens Chat with the question ready
    • Precise location (town or suburb) and a 2D/3D map toggle
    • The app now updates itself to the latest version

    v1.4 — Live cards

    Real, current data drawn right in the chat: weather, maps, sun times, exchange rates and public holidays.

    • Weather: current conditions, the next 12 hours and a 7-day forecast (MET Norway)
    • Maps: type an address or ask where something is to get an interactive map in WizPrly colours, with 3D buildings and directions links (OpenStreetMap)
    • Sunrise, sunset, golden hour and daylight for any place and date
    • Currency conversion at today’s European Central Bank reference rates
    • Public holidays for any country, with long weekends marked

    v1.3 — Location-aware answers

    Optional, approximate location for more relevant local answers, without limiting what you can ask.

    • Choose to share your approximate country and province (no GPS) or pick them yourself in Settings
    • Local defaults for prices, laws and services, with national and international options where useful
    • A “Local” badge on answers that were tailored to your location
    • WizPrly Chat now knows your local date and time

    v1.2 — File attachments

    Attach documents as well as images, and ask questions about them.

    • Attach, paste or drag in PDF, Word (.docx), Excel (.xlsx), PowerPoint (.pptx), text, CSV, JSON and code files (up to 50 MB, 5 per message)
    • Files are read in your browser; only their text is sent with your message
    • Scanned PDFs, mixed scanned/typed PDFs and picture-only Word or PowerPoint files are transcribed page by page (up to 40 pages per file)
    • Long pastes become a text attachment automatically, and copied answers paste without the app’s colours

    v1.1 — WizPrly Chat

    NovaChat is now WizPrly Chat — with optional accounts and file & media creation.

    • Renamed from NovaChat to WizPrly Chat
    • Optional free accounts (email and password, or Google) to sync chats and settings across devices — guests can still chat without signing up
    • Delete your account and its data from the app
    • Create Word, PDF, Excel and PowerPoint documents
    • Create images, spoken audio, music, sound effects and short video clips
    • Download buttons on code blocks and other text files

    WizPrly Chat is live. Free to use, with no sign-up.

    • Smart routing: text to DeepSeek, images to an OpenAI vision model, automatically
    • Think mode with a collapsible reasoning panel

    • Markdown, syntax-highlighted code with copy, and KaTeX maths
    • Image attach, paste and drag-and-drop (PNG, JPEG, WEBP, GIF up to 5 MB)
